I believe that we, as individual investors can do very well in the stock market, but not with trading apps that require us to push the button. Trading apps with bright colors and falling confetti animations take advantage of our emotions and encourage behaviors similar to how casinos encourage us to gamble.
Let’s employ sophisticated software to simplify the operation of our strategies so that we waste less time and make fewer mistakes.

Our Team
Kevin Hamilton
CEOKevin co-founded Tiblio in 2020 with MBA classmate Leon Smith. He's been passionate about options trading since 2001 when he worked for a company that produced trade signals using adaptive learning algorithms.
By 2011, he was trading options extensively every day. Every night he would listen to playbacks of market maker commentary from the ThinkOrSwim podcasts.
George Abe
AdvisorGeorge Abe is adjunct assistant professor of entrepreneurship at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and is author of the newly published Entrepreneurship: A Tools-Oriented Approach (Vandeplas Publishing, 2020). Abe was previously a venture partner with Santa Monica-based Palomar Ventures.
Mary Frances-Knight
AdvisorMary Frances is the Founder and CEO of The Skinsheet, a startup dedicated to innovation-first skincare materials. She previously served as the Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Operations and Finance for StartEngine Crowdfunding where she obtained her Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses and helped to secure StartEngine's broker-dealer license. March, 2021
Tiblio integrates with Tradier Brokerage allowing investors to trade directly from the screeners and includes automation tools so investors receive automatic profit and loss alerts on trades.
September, 2020 Launch Trade Journal
Tiblio launches trade journaling software that helps investors log trades and analyze the results of their personal trading systems. The journal tracks performance by ticker symbol with some key metrics that includes the investors expected profit or loss per trade based on calculated probabilities.
August, 2020 Kevin Publishes Strategies
In his short 15-page e-book, Sell Options Like an Engineer, Kevin provides investors with his own personal system for selling stock options. The PDF is available on Google Play and is free to download for Tiblio members.
Tiblio Launches in July, 2020
A short six months after graduating from UCLA Anderson, Kevin and Leon launch Tiblio with a core set of stock option research tools to help individual investors find expensive options to sell.
Revisiting the idea in 2019
Leon and Kevin meet at UCLA Anderson and discuss different ideas for launching a data service to retail investors to help solve the issues with data quality and transparency. This is during the rise of Robinhood and the concept of providing free data and zero commissions to investors. The tradeoff is that the brokerage makes money through a newer vehicle called Pay for Order Flow. This is generally considered to not be in the best interests of the investor.

Tiblio is conceived of as an investment vehicle providing access to Bitcoin on the heels of Bitcoin futures being made available through CBOE. This concept was tabled and Kevin entered business school at UCLA Anderson.
The Spark, July 2017
Kevin heavily traded stock options and built a prototype software package for ingesting and analyzing trade data. Kevin used this software to track portfolio greeks, one of which was Gamma. So the software code-named Zero Gamma.
