Frequently asked questions

No. Our robot primarily sells options, waits for assignments and sells more options.
No. Generally speaking the robot will not open and close positions on the same equity in the same day, it could theoretically happen though, especially if you
change settings midday so it something you should monitor through your trading platform, e.g., ThinkOrSwim.
Yes. Your robot trades alongside you. You can both trade in the same account and you can restrict the robot
to trading only a portion of the account by restricting buying power. Some things can happen like if you have the robot
configured to cancel open orders, then periodically it may cancel an order that you entered that took too long to execute.
Another scenario that can happen is if you close a position that the bot manages, it might re-open the position.
2. The bot will submit single leg option orders only. Known as covered calls and cash secured puts.
Primarily Stocks and ETFs. If your account has approval to trade it, and has options data for it, then the bot could trade it. We have tested it
on stocks and ETFs. We have not tested and do not support more obscure equities such as Futures contracts and options on futures contracts.
Multiple times per day. The exact schedule for your robot will vary but it will
check the market, your account and decide if it should take any actions at least every hour during regular market hours.
Enough for 100 shares. For example, let's say you choose HBI trading at $10.50. Then you need
to give the robot at least $1,050 in buying power so that it can sell 1 put option. In this minimum case, the
robot will likely submit an order once every few weeks.
